About the Artist: "The essence of Watercolor is best expressed in a fluid spontaneous manner". Bill Samuelson is best known for her 'wet in wet' style of painting. Her paintings are filled with brilliant jewels of color which Billie allows to mix directly on the paper. Billie is an intuitive painter which reflects in her approach to create a fresh, painterly effect. She believes that "Less Is More". With a wide range of subjects, from the traditional to the semi-abstract, Ms. Samuelson is constantly seeking a new 'perspective' in careful observation of her subject.
